Job Description:
• The CNC programmer is responsible for creating and developing programs that control CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines.
• Interpreting technical drawings and specifications into codes that the machine can understand.
• Utilizing programming software tools such as “SolidCam,” “Fusion 360,” “MasterCam.”
• Conducting program testing, and optimizing the production process to increase efficiency and precision in the manufacturing of parts.
Requirements / Qualifications:
• Minimum of a Technical School IV degree, preferably in mechanical engineering. Technical knowledge.
• Skill in working with programming software.
• Knowledge of materials and processing technologies.
• Familiarity with cutting tools.
• Understanding the capabilities of the machine being programmed.
